In 2003, News Director Marlee Ellis became part of the Country Legends morning show team. Prior to joining KTFW, Marlee was the News Director and an on-air personality at KYXS “The Radio Ranch” in Weatherford, now known as our sister station 95.9 The Ranch. Before beginning a career in radio broadcasting, Marlee spent 10 years in marketing, advertising and public relations. She is a native of West Texas and a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a B.A. from the College of Communications. (Yes, I walked the same hallowed halls as Walter Cronkite!)
When Marlee is not busy keeping Dave and Ron in line or seeking out North Texas news stories, she is busy raising her four daughters. Three are teenagers - please pray for me! Marlee and her family reside in Weatherford.

Today is my Wedding Anniversary. My husband Mike (The Firefighter) and I have been married for 3 years today. It still amazes me when I meet people at events and they say they kept up with all the details of the wedding over the many months we talked about it on the air. It was definitely an ordeal - who gets married outdoors in July? Thanks for all your love and support over the years and thanks to Mike for putting up with a house full of girls!
