A Few Things About Dave Dumas...
Career Stuff: My first job in radio was at the age of 16 working after school at the local radio station in Lampasas. From there I did what most disc jockeys do...travel...from one station to the next in vaious formats from rock and roll, chicken rock, AOR, Top 40 and wound up in Ft. Worth at WBAP when it was one of the largest country music stations in the country. When WBAP began the transition to talk radio I left my position there to help create an outdoor television series "Outdoor Trails". I did this for 20 years and had the opportunity to hunt and fish from Alaska to Nicaragua and all points in between. As most "work" travelers can tell you no matter how fun it is...there's no place like home. Leaving the travel behind I returned to radio and had the good fortune to find a slot at my favorite radio station "92.1". I have seen radio change over the years I don't think there is a radio station around that works harder and puts more into outside promotions, contests and community events than this one and it's just a fun place for me to spend my afternoons.
Family: I have been married for 30 years to my wife Ann. Have one daughter, currently serving as a paralegal in the U.S. Army and deployed to Takrit, Iraq until July 18, 08. A stepson living in New Orleans and employed in the food industry.
Hobbies: Still like to hunt and fish...just without a camera now...which puts the fun back in it. Scuba Diving, camping, horseback riding...anything outdoors...and of course going to country music shows.

Come see me this Saturday at Stockyards Station in the Ft. Worth Stockyards...it's the big National Day of the American Cowboy celebration...we'll have lot's of giveaways...and there's tons to do...
