THE RULES, REGULATIONS, & SMALL PRINT
ELIGIBILITY:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States or The District of Columbia, 21 years of age or older at time of entry with a valid driver’s license and/or hold legal identification documentation. Employees and directors of Country Legends 92.1 FM, Café Aspen, Tilson Home Corp., Guitar Center, Frank Kent Hummer, Frank Kent Cadillac, First Choice Truck Lube, Inc., LoneStar Sound, Starfire Entertainment, Bramlett Implement, their affiliated companies, participating Sponsors, information providers, content providers, subsidiaries, advertisers, advertising agencies, promotional and marketing agencies (and their immediate family members and those living in the same households) are ineligible. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
HOW TO PLAY: Each week beginning on Thursday, February 7, 2008 and ending Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Café Aspen, 6103 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76116, Country Legends 92.1 FM will have CROWMAN’S ACOUSTIC JAM.

Week 3: February 21st (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 4: February 28th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 5: March 6th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 6: March 13th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 7: March 20th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 8: March 27th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 9: April 3rd (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)
Week 10: April 10th (Semi-Finalist advances to May 1st Finals)

NOTE: ARTISTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM DISTRIBUTING ANY MARKETING MATERIAL RELATED TO SALES AND/OR PROMOTIONS OF THEIR OWN ACTS…TO INCLUDE CDS, T-SHIRTS, FLYERS, MERCHANDISE AND ANY OF THE LIKE. ANY ARTISTS NOT ABIDING BY THIS REQUEST WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE 2008 CONTEST.
5:00 pm: REGISTRATION BEGINS:
Musicians sign up, free of charge, at the Country Legends 92.1 FM Registration Table
NOTE: ALL MUSICIANS CAN PERFORM SOLO OR WITH ONE OR TWO ACCOMPANYING MUSICIANS…NO MORE THAN THREE PERFORMERS TOTAL. ACOUSTIC ACTS ONLY.
5:45 pm: REGISTRATION ENDS:
Registration Forms are mixed up and placed in random order. The first twelve (12) contestants are guaranteed a slot to perform. When time allows (until 7:00 pm) we will continue with contestants number thirteen and up if time allows.
6:00 pm: START PICKIN’:
The musicians “order of performance” is announced.
The musicians are then called up to the Mic to perform two to three songs (Original or Cover). Musicians can perform solo or with one or two accompanying musicians…No more than three performers total.
ACOUSTIC ACTS ONLY.
VOTING METHODS:
Overall results will be determined by a variety of methods including but not limited to:
* Audience Participation by silent written ballot, provide by Country Legends 92.1 FM.
Country Legends 92.1 FM appointed judges. Appointed Judges may not be professionally affiliated with any contestants. Country Legends personnel will have the final say as to who the SEMI-FINALISTS will be.
8:00 pm:
Overall results will be determined by a variety of methods including but not limited to:
* Country Legends 92.1 FM Appointed judges will determine winner. The Country Legends personnel will have the final say as to who the WINNER will be.
ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO REVIEW.
COUNTRY LEGENDS 92.1 FM REPRESENTATIVES HAVE THE ABSOLUTE FINAL
SAY AS TO WHO THE WINNER IS.
WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED:
A Representative of Country Legends 92.1 FM will announce the Weekly Winner and award the weekly prize.
Those who competed weekly but didn’t win in any given week are eligible to compete in the following weeks.
NOTIFICATION AND AWARDING OF PRIZES:
By accepting a prize, winner(s) release and discharge all sponsors, affiliated companies and their parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from any liability or damage due in whole or in part to the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or from participation in this contest.
By participating in this contest, any and all semi-finalists and winners, except where prohibited by law, grants Country Legends 92.1 FM and all other sponsors the right to use the winner’s name, likeness, picture, portrait, hometown, voice, biographical information, written submissions and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Country Legends 92.1 FM and Café Aspen, and any parties affiliated with them, are not responsible for any error in registration and or in the voting process. All decisions on prizes and winners are final and are not subject to review based on allegations of voting error, improper voting, and/or level of attendance during time of performance. Country Legends 92.1 FM and Café Aspen reserve the right to refuse anyone entrance into this contest. Country Legends 92.1 FM will have the final say as to who the winner is. Contest will last 13 weeks.
